My project for course: Introduction to Calligraphy

I started to learn calligraphy from some books I bought in September 2023. However, I decided to do this course as well because I found Giorgio on Instagram and I thought his letters were just PERFECT. Also, he was left-handed, just like me! And I was still struggling to find the best angle to write at. I learnt a lot from Giorgio! When I finished his course in October, I wrote the card you can see here. I captioned it: “Far from perfect, but done :)”.

Now I wanted to share a little update with you - this is a short poem I wrote in the first week of December. Still not perfect, but already much better! The handwriting is more relaxed here and the letters are more consistent in shape than before. I also did a better job with the text layout :)

Now I have just finished a course in flourishing, so maybe one day there will be another update here with a more complex project ;)
