My project for course: Realistic Figure Painting with Acrylic and Oil

I know there is a lot that could be improved in this painting for it to be much more realistic in colour , form and detail , but given it is my first attempt at a figure study in oil paints , I am pleased with the progress I have made. I am not a very patient person so I found it a challenge to paint each section in turn over several days and in the end I decided to stop when I felt I was achieving diminishing returns !! Thank you Aidan I learned a lot and now after attempting a painting myself appreciate even more your talent and art work .
