How to take creative selfies: the process
Follow, step by step, Mina Barrio's advice to take creative selfies with your mobile.
1. Low angle selfies
Before starting, let's go with the simplest advice, clean the camera lens. You will get better quality and sharpness in all your photos, not just selfies. Next, you must activate the front camera, this way you will be able to see the plane without needing help.
You are going to work outdoors so that the background of the image is the open sky and clouds, elements that give a lot of play. Place the camera on the ground and start experimenting with your poses, but if modeling is not your thing, place all your weight on one of your feet, make sure your legs are visible, and take out the pelvis outward so that the upper trunk enters flat, it always works.
2. The photo session begins
Activate the timer so you can take photos without having to press the button. Other very useful tricks are, on the one hand playing with your hands to create perspective and using other elements within the shot, such as a roof, the top of a tree or an awning.
You can also take this type of selfie indoors, since the ceilings of a home can provide very interesting textures and colors. Of course, remember to find a light source, whether natural or artificial, that allows you to appreciate all the elements of the image.
