1. Choose the style of your table
One of the first things we must do is choose the style or narrative behind our decoration. In this case, farmhouse style. This decoration style that evokes the past to achieve cozy, bright and elegant spaces with a rural touch.
2. Choose the star element
Next, Estela suggests that you think about the star element, that is, the object that will be the protagonist of your table. In this specific case, the decorator chooses napkins with a beige and black checkered pattern, very characteristic of the farm style.
3. Define the colors of your table
The next step is to define the colors that your table will have, especially the tablecloth. Estela has decided on a taupe color, since it is another of the characteristic colors of the farmhouse style.
4. Dress your table with the basics
Once we have all the textile placed, it is time to start forming the table. We'll start with the basics of tableware: plates, glasses, and cutlery.
Next, we will place the underplates. Estela has opted for wooden ones, with a rustic style that fits perfectly with the farmhouse style. Keep in mind that the appearance of the table will change as the meal progresses, as napkins will be used and plates will be changed.
5. Decorate your table
Finally, it's time for decoration. Estela likes to use scarves, fabrics and table runners to give it a special touch. On this occasion, the decorator has made a centerpiece with two characteristic farmhouse elements: barn mesh and wheat.
This is how the table would look.
