“Molding and Stiffening a Capeline on a Hat Block In this lesson, we are going to mold the capeline on the hat block. First, we will wet the capeline. In some cases, in order to make sure it’s wet enough, it’s best to run it under the faucet. Make sure to wet it thoroughly. The next step is to take the hat block we made earlier, along with the disc, and wrap it in film so that it doesn't stick. We place the crown on the base and we insert pins diagonally to fasten it.
