The most important one is obviously the sketchbook. I like to use A4 Arteza sketchbook, with a textured paper. I like to use a few different sketchbooks, smaller and bigger, like this one. Some are better for cross-hatching, like with a smoother paper, and this one is good for mixed techniques.
