Behind the Naranjalidad pseudonym is Beatriz Ramo, an architect and illustrator based in Madrid. Her work has been exhibited in cities like Madrid, Barcelona, and Shanghai, among others. Winner of the Oysho 2014 illustration contest, her work is characterized by the almost constant female presence, seasoned with atmospheres of nature, many colors, and light surreal touches. Her work is mainly defined by the use of pencil, charcoal, and watercolor, although she uses multiple experimental techniques in her works. In 2017, she published her first book, Tropics, with the Lunwerg publishing house.
You can also find her work in collaborations with IKEA, Vogue, Mr. Wonderful, Threadless or Hyundai, and in publications from Editorial Planeta, Penguin Random House, or Yorokobu.
