Learn to create patterns directly on a body to make bespoke clothing items that are fitted to anyone's shape and proportions
¨A piece of clothing should dress each body with precision and comfort, as if it were a second skin. Modeling done directly on the person allows us to understand natural curves and cutting needs, thus making impeccable molds.¨, says designer and creative director Jum Nakao.
With more than 40 years of experience in the world of fashion, Jum has collaborated with the London Olympic Games and the Oscar ceremony and has designed collections for brands such as Nike, Zoomp and Carmim. In addition, her fashion show A Coutura do Invisível was considered one of the greatest of the 21st century by the Paris Fashion Museum.
In this online course, Jum will teach you how to develop custom patterns for dresses and t-shirts that adjust to everyone's shape. From the fundamentals of modeling on the body and creping, you will be able to produce tailor-made pieces with freedom, without numbers or formulas. Learn to create gifts that will dress every body like a glove!

Hello, your courses are great, however, it is for me that I would like to make a garment, but how do I do the molding on myself since I don't know anyone who could help me do it on myself. I am 73 years old and I have been sewing for 40 years. Thank you, have a nice day, Liliane, too bad the course is not in French.

Good morning
I liked the content of the course, the videos are of very good quality and everything
except that for me personally who does not understand Brazilian or Spanish I found it difficult to understand some passages given that the proposed translation is not coherent
and also the attachments which are in Brazilian
I would have liked the proposed attachments to be in English
I recommend this course for its content
There it is, thanks

Great course, I watched it with English subtitles, which was not excellent, but worked well enough. Videos are amazing and informative, with a lot of tips. Jum, thank you so much for creating it!! 🤩

A different way of patterning with manual techniques more adapted to real bodies and not to numbers dictated by standard measurements. I'll put into practice!
