Mónica Muñoz Hernández holds a fine arts degree from the Universidad de Salamanca and works in Madrid as a freelance print designer and owner of her own brand of clothing and accessories. Her prints are often based on drawings created using watercolor, markers, or crayons.
She has developed products for advertising projects and top museums as a graphic designer and served as art director at Fun&Basics. As a freelance designer, she regularly collaborates with other companies and brands such as Zara Home and Urban Outfitters.
Mónica also teaches at the Universidad de Salamanca and at IED (Istituto Europeo di Design) Madrid, where she leads an illustration course focused on pattern design as part of the Master of Textile and Surfaces Design program.
On multiple occasions, Mónica has exhibited and sold her pieces at Madrid Fashion Week's “El Ego” showroom. Additionally, she was named one of Spain's top ten young design talents by Metrópoli, a cultural publication from Spanish newspaper El Mundo.
