How beautiful is it all!
I have started my first attempts at drawing. It is not easy. But that's ok. Imagine a child. What would happen if, after falling three times, it said, "No, running is not for me." Inconceivably.
I booked the course mainly because of the mixture of "drawing / meditating". That sounded promising. And yes, it's so good to see the process in real time and not in time-lapse. That alone is enjoyment.
Now I am waiting for my order of paints and paper, including "oro-verde". Until then, I can try a few line drawings. I am curious how it will turn out. In any case, thank you very much for this great course.
@lapinbarcelona Are you from Barcelona? I entered your course, but it comes out in English. Is this how you give the course? don't you speak it in spanish? I already bought one in which the teacher spoke English and the subtitles came out, it was difficult for me to follow him and as soon as I saw the intro I changed it for another one of botany but in Spanish
@mary_angeles_lucas yes, I live in Barcelona but I am French, so you will have a course in basic English with a French accent. I'm sure it won't cost you anything to understand me;)
@lapinbarcelona HI, I am enjoying your course. I have been to Barcelona and southwestern France and have such fond memories of the beauty there. I have a question about line drawing. I often have difficulty when drawing a symmetrical object like a leaf because one side comes out well but the other side is pinched or distorted. Do you have a strategy for this? Timothy
@kaeote I am glad you enjoy the course.
I do not care that much about creating some accurate symmetrical objects, I like distortion, it gives more life to the drawing. especially for plants, it is never strictly symmetrical.
