The unique Herringbone casting process enables me to cast pieces of varying scale, function, finish and colour to produce a unique piece every time.
These furniture pieces are examples of what I am able to create using this process, which includes furniture, vases, bowls, and tiles.
Supported by a minimal solid walnut structure, the Herringbone cabinet demonstrates my ability to make larger custom pieces, with huge potential to customise the scale, form, function, colour and finish of the piece. The cabinet doors and back are reinforced inside, which enables me to cast strong curved sections that are more than one metre in size, yet only 20mm thick.
The cabinet and table are often assumed to be made by CNC routing, but the Herringbone pieces are cast completely by hand in my London studio, using my casting process.
I am interested in creating objects whose form, often detailed and visually complex, belies the hand-made, lo-f processes with which they are created. On closer inspection the objects often reveal small imperfections, which are a result of the process and communicate the hand-made nature of the piece.

I've tried to make this type patterns, but it only works if it's straight, when I make a curve, it always collapses
looks so good
