Wow! I'm impressed by both works! They are very good, each one with a small different line of style, but in essence you can see that both are yours, both are spectacular, you can see that in the first one it was more difficult for you to detach yourself from the contour line, but that's not bad, it's just another way to do it, and it's great, and in the second you have opted and risked more of your comfort zone and you have eliminated the contour line completely, which is also great It is clear that you master the line perfectly, so it is a challenge to try to create something without it in the end. In any case, both are fine! Each one is cool in its own way, perhaps what you could do now, in a future drawing, is a midpoint between the two, leaving some areas with contour lines and others without the line and Let it be the brushstrokes and the spots of color that give shape to the figures, that is another challenge, another way to change the chip of what comes naturally to you, a way to train creativity. In the future, it depends on your state of mind, or depending on the type of work, controlling both processes, sometimes you can opt more for predominance of the line, others without contour lines, and others a combination and balance between both, it is good having versatility, it is not only about having your own style, the nice thing is that, even if you vary your style, you still know that the drawing is yours. What is very clear, that you also have the mastery of color, you have an instinct to combine colors, with which the final result of your works are super harmonious coloristically. What else can I say! I love how you draw and I love these 2 works. As I always say, the important thing is not to stop drawing, creating, practicing, exploring, from time to time leaving our comfort zones, we never stop learning, evolving, that's the beauty! main of all everything, is to enjoy creating :)
@javier_g_pacheco Thank you very much! Taking the course has helped me to try a new way of approaching illustrations, as you say, outside of my zone of control. I will test what you say in future illustrations since I would like to improve and be able to have more ease in this style because I would like to be a little more versatile and be able to do other things. Again, thank you very much for the course and for your comment!
