Wow that is stunning. Your colours and layering are incredible. I must admit that Bulldogs are my favourite breed as we’ve owned many over the years and you’ve captured their character beautifully. This is exceptional and really well done! Congratulations on a super piece of work!
Thank you very much for your encouragement, your tips and advice have helped me a lot! I loved painting this Superb doggie! The base photo was very expressive. I tried, as much as possible, according to my abilities, to pay homage to him! Thank you for your course, which I took with great pleasure! @sarah_stokes

Incredible! The subtlety of the colours and the level of detail are amazing. I could stare at it in awe all day!
Thank you for sharing the steps with us!
I have always liked drawing without having taken a course (I am 58 years old). Hard to say… I stopped painting for about 20 years and just decided to go back to it. Before, I mainly did oil painting and a little watercolor. Now I no longer paint in oils at all and I have taken up watercolor again and I am also trying other techniques that I had never practiced, charcoal, colored pencils… I will also try other subjects , landscapes for example… But I like to express the expression of my dear animal friends, so we'll see! Thank you for your compliment, it's very encouraging because I still doubt the result! @unicojota
@mailinnie1998 First by multiplying the light layers with watercolor (very diluted), taking into account Sarah Stokes' advice on tones. Then by reinforcing the contrasts and adding the details with the watercolor, and the colored pencils at the end. Between each layer, I make a point to see what needs to be accentuated or lightened (harder brush with clean water). Do not be in a hurry and little by little the whole is built, the volumes take shape. Thank you for your very kind appreciation!
