After I created an illustration of a beautiful hat shop in London and posted it on Instagram, I got in touch with the owner of the business. He bought the illustration and commissioned me to paint the other branches for him as well. It was a lovely project that I enjoyed working on!

I don't know if you can/are willing to answer this but I wondered, when you approach a shop owner with a picture you painted of their shop, how much do you sell it for? Can you maybe give a rough guideline?
I am currently doing your Domestika course and thoroughly enjoying it.
Even though I am originally from Belgium I live in Sussex, England, and there so many quaint villages with lovely little shops and I would like to paint some local shop fronts and, once I am good enough, present them to the shop owners...
In any case, thank you so much for sharing your know how with us aspiring artists!

I understand your position, and after some more thinking, I came up with an idea that could benefit both parties. How about hosting an event at your boutique that not only promotes Laird Hatters hats but also includes other cultural activities? For example, you could offer singing classes to attract a broader audience. This strategy could present a more attractive proposition for Laird Hatters and open the door to a mutually beneficial collaboration.

I am currently doing several watercolor courses, some urban and others of landscapes and animals. I hope to learn a lot from you, I love your style, your drawings are very delicate and precise, with a lot of detail and the use of colors and light is great. I haven't started yet, I'll tell you about my progress when I finish. Thanks in advance.
