A portrait of the person that I love a lot but am afraid to lose. This portrait is highly symbolic.

The negative space I used for this work is the representation of my fear that this person might disappear from my life. You can see that it almost looks like half of his face disappeared, while the other half is still present. I can feel that he is disconnecting from me.

The facial expression is also a little uncertain and sad. His eyes are looking to the side, not at me, which shows this distance appearing between us.
