Very, very good design. I see that you applied very well the concepts that I shared with you in the course. In your case, an idea that occurs to me to give the art direction a sportier touch is to reinforce the concept of the angle of the triangle on the right, along the small elements of the design. For example, what if the arrows bear something with the same angle as well, and maybe the background photo has a treatise with cut or lines using the same angle. Repetition in your case would help reinforce the identity and give it greater visual depth.
But back, a very solid work. Very neat alignments, I liked the typographic changes you made and the elements with their unique touch like the active state of the menu and the pagination on the left.
