This project is the first music video I have ever made. It was difficult and at times stressful because the client told us about the project about 3 weeks in advance for its publication, so we did not have the time we wanted to plan, record and edit it. Despite this, it was a job that I really enjoyed and from which I learned a lot. We made the recording in two days: the first in a basement and the second in the fields of marigold flower, while we dedicated a week to the edition.
Hi Abraham,
I've been slow to give you my assessment for the dates, but I remember the impression the first time I saw it.
Beforehand your video contains some of the most pictorial plans presented here, very classic but elegant. Like the plane among the flowers that refers to so many painters. GOOD!
In general, your clip looks like I say very classic but very correct, well filmed, I miss a bit of grain in the final treatment, which helps us with the texture to get closer to something like painting and cinema, because I think that being so organic, both for what was filmed and the song itself, it could have done a bit of dirt and warmth.
In that sense, the interior scenes are the ones that reach me the least because I think they have a false point, from the set of the 80s, and I think that if you had shot with movement in that exterior location, the video would have grown a lot, since everything it suffers from a somewhat static rhythm that, although the theme of the music goes well, it makes it more difficult for us to finish it, perhaps because it lacks a small narrative plot and remains only in something contemplative.
With all this, it is a good video clip exercise to use, and that for certain artists is the most appropriate.
That is why for me it is an approved exercise and from which if you propose it you can get much more in the future.
