In the universe of manga and anime, few names shine as brightly as that of Akira Toriyama. His boundless creativity, iconic characters and epic story of Dragon Ball have left an indelible mark on pop culture. We are pleased to share some of the most inspiring projects from our Dragon Ball community, a manifestation of the passion and creativity Toriyama has cultivated over the years. From stunning illustrations to innovative recreations, we'll explore how fans have channeled their love of Dragon Ball into meaningful works. We compile 8 projects of Domestika's teachers and students to commemorate International Women's Day Women's Day has become a great source of inspiration for many artists and women in general. Every March 8, the streets around the world are filled with women demonstrating for their rights and every year we come across new and creative posters that motivate us in the struggle and convey a great sorority. To commemorate this important day, we wanted to gather here 8 projects made by teachers and students of Domestika that express, each in their own way, the feminist struggle. 1. Sofía Castellanos
This project from our beloved teacher Antonia Reyes Montealegre showcases the process she followed to draw one of the most incredible birds of the Chilean temperate forests, the Chucao. If you hear it singing nearby, consider yourself lucky. Antonia Reyes Montealegre is a wildlife illustrator. She explores her homeland and distant places, capturing wild nature stories that inspire us to reconsider our relationship with nature. You can take a look at one of her courses to learn how to paint like her: "Naturalist Bird Illustration with Watercolors."

Q: How did your journey into beaded jewelry making begin? A: "During my childhood, I dabbled in beadwork, creating small trinkets that fascinated me. However, it was a serendipitous encounter in a South African antique shop that truly inspired me. I stumbled upon the exquisite art of intertwining beads with metal, and that moment became a revelation. I couldn't wait to return home and explore the myriad possibilities within this technique." Q: What prompted you to start your business, Mountain Maiden Company? A: "After extensive experimentation and refining my craft, I reached a point where I felt confident enough to start my own venture. Thus, Mountain Maiden Company was born. Initially, it began as a small jewelry business, but it has since blossomed into an ever-expanding collection, showcasing my evolving creations."

This is Halloween, by Enrique Escalona Enrique started the project with the idea of designing an exclusive character for Halloween. Although he had some inspiration from "Nightmare Before Christmas", he sought to differentiate himself, especially from Jack. In this project with elements such as a mask, scythe and a skeleton-bird, he has created an atmosphere of death and mystery but with a more colorful touch. This project by Stanielary is the work she completed in the course "Digital Portraits: Draw Female Characters with Natural Light" by RaidesArt. In it, she showcases the step-by-step process of how she achieved this captivating image. Using Photoshop as her tool, the result is magnificent. Congratulations, Stanielary; it has been the project that the community liked the most!

In this incredible project, Claire Garland, known for her creative knitting techniques that bring authentic-looking stuffed animals to life, takes us into a world where cats come alive through thread and needles. With over 120K followers on Instagram and several published books, including "Magical Woodland Knits," Claire has perfected the art of knitting realistic and charming creatures. She masterfully manipulates thread to create textures and shapes that capture the unique essence of these fantastic felines. From the curve of their backs to the sparkle in their eyes, each one is a knitted work of art that demonstrates the power of knitting techniques to represent these animals' diversity, elegance, and beauty. So if you love cats and enjoy knitting, this project will inspire you to pick up your needles and start knitting your collection of cats. My project of the course: Paper Cutting Illustration: create extraordinary books by Julia Guevara (@juli_guevara) Julia Guevara has created a magnificent papercut project on the book The Little Prince, inspired by Paz Tamburrini's course Paper Cutting Illustration: Create Extraordinary Books. Julia has carried out the project step by step with great care, adding the carefully assembled covers. You can see the result in the photographs she shares in her project, where she demonstrates a great ability to create books that escape the traditional format using the papercut technique.
