Jimena Estíbaliz is a Mexican illustrator specialized in editorial illustration. After her studies in Design and Visual Communication in UNAM, Mexico, she was an assistant to Juan Palomino, which began her path into illustration as a full-time career. She then pursued studies in Narrative Illustration, which allowed her to hone her personal style as an illustrator.

She has also illustrated for magazines like Tierra Adentro, Letras Libres, KM 0 Chilango, and Palacio de Hierro and worked with musicians like Silvana Estrada, Alex Ferreira, and Pasión Vega, creating their posters, album covers, and more.

She has won the Cartel de la 39 Filij contest, was selected in the IX Catálogo Iberoamericano 2018, and was a finalist for the Silent Book Contest 2018 of the Bologna Children’s Book Fair.
