“MATERIALS Hi again, since the portrait we are doing will be mainly analog, in this lesson I'll show you the materials. Starting with the type of paper we will use. I usually use different paper types and grades although my favorite that I use the most for portraits is this one, the Moulin du Roy by Canson, 300 grams and fine grain. I like it because the fine grain is perfect to work with watercolor, but it works even better with pencil, which I always add in second layers. With a fine grain paper the paper's texture is less noticeable, and this allows me to do a subtler and softer portrait....”
