“Making the Mould We're finished putting the packaging tape on this base part, as you can see. All this tape in here will make it nonstick and less likely for the resin to stick to it. These little corners here, I don't bother sticking tape on them. If you want to, you can, but I find it's ok. Now, we'll stick the base part to the inside of our mould. This is designed to fit in here and be a nice snug fit so the resin doesn't flow past it. You might have to squeeze the sides to fit it in here. You place it over it. One of his designs was nominated for London's annual Designs of the Year Awards at The Design Museum. Phil has been invited to participate in events such Milan Furniture Fair and Art Basel Miami to show his design process. Apart from making commissions from his studio, Phil also teaches workshops on design.
