“The Basics of Mixing and Pouring We've waited for 20 hours or so for our second layer to set. So far, we have two layers in there. We have our first pink transparent layer. Then, we have our second pearlescent pink layer, which will have dried on a bit of an angle. Now, we'll pour our third layer and that will finish off the light shade. I've already premixed again 160 g of A and 80 g of B to give us our final 240 g. It's just been mixed so we have an hour of pot life or so. What I'll do is add some colours, make a pearlescent blue, mix it up, pour it into the mould, and leave it to set. So...”

In 2009, after graduating from design school, Phil moved to London, where he founded his studio and currently crafts his pieces.
